About Us

While taking the Corporate Social Responsibility lessons during  Management Education, the concept of Individual Social Responsibility took birth in the minds of a close group of friends from PGDBM 2004-06 batch of BIRLA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY, NOIDA, India. A mere thought shared by them during their college days has  transformed into an entity called "JATAN"( THE EFFORT ).

Jatan  was established initially at Muradnagar ,Distt- Ghaziabad in 2006 as Jatan Sansthan.

JATAN  at Nagpur was established on 1st September,2008.

It is a Registered NGO as JATAN SANSTHA under Societies Registration Act.1860. ( Regn. No. MH-697/15(N)  Dt:1.9.2015.

JATAN at Nagpur is working for empowerment of women & children of underpriviledged society and is carrying out following activities for them.

* FREE 6 months Certificate Course in Basic Tailoring for poor women.

* FREE Remedial Education for poor children upto class IXth.

* FREE Spoken English Class for children above class XIth

* Subsidized e Learning Center for women & children from underpriviledged  society.
